Working and volunteering

We employ permanent and temporary play organisers and play workers to work with children and young people across Cardiff.

All staff are employed under Cardiff Council’s recruitment and selection policy and have to fill in an application form, supply references and undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Contact us for more information on job opportunities for play workers.
Volunteers are a valuable asset to Children’s Play Services. The service operates a Volunteer Scheme which gives volunteers the opportunity to experience working with children, build confidence and self esteem and gain skills and knowledge of practical activities and an awareness of children’s needs.

Contact us to find out more about becoming a volunteer.
