How you can help

You can help people who are rough sleeping in Cardiff by supporting the schemes providing practical and specialist support to people in the city.

You can do this by donating and volunteering.

Volunteering can make a real difference to people’s lives.

Our aim is to help you find your ideal volunteering opportunity and realise your potential.

We are keen for volunteers to join each of the following services:
  • Ty Greenfarm (Family Hostel)
  • Ty Tresillian (Single Person Hostel)
  • The Gypsy Traveller Services
  • Adams Court (Family/Single temporary accommodation)
  • Outreach Service

Once inducted, the volunteer co-ordinator you will have a conversation with you about which service would be best suited to you.

If you are interested in joining our service as a volunteer please contact us by email Greenfarmhostel@cardiff.gov.uk or phone 029 2087 3141

The Bus Project is a converted double decker bus providing services five days a week, 52 weeks a year.

With office space and a medical suite, people who are sleeping rough can access emergency care and support services.

The service also provides food and hot drinks, and acts as a shelter for people in bad weather. Find out how you can support the work of the Salvation ArmyExternal link opens in a new window.
