Focusing on older adults and disabled people, our Independent Living Services can help you access a wide range of support to help you live as independently as possible.
We may provide a visiting service for help and advice on benefits to help maximise your income. We can also help you reduce your outgoings by advising you on how to make your home more energy-efficient and tell you about any grants or discounts you may be entitled to.
If you are finding it harder to carry out everyday tasks and to look after yourself, some minor adaptations or new equipment could make all the difference. We can contact other services on your behalf and co-ordinate with them to ensure that any changes are tailored to you and your needs.
And we can put you in touch with local organisations who arrange regular social events, outings, luncheon clubs and much more. We can also provide support and advice if you are struggling to prepare your meals and eat healthily.
