The Council can install road signs to help direct people to local attractions. The type of signs you can apply for depend on what kind of attraction the sign is directing people to.

Attractions and excursion destinations
- Historic properties and castle
- Museums and galleries
- Parks and gardens, nature reserves and natural attractions
- Leisure complexes
Visitor Facilities
- Hotels, bed and breakfasts and youth hostels
- Restaurants and pubs
- Theatres and concert venues
- Retail establishments
- Sports venues

How much will it cost?
There is a fee of £125 per application, which is non-refundable. Payment must be made by Debit or Credit card before the application can be processed.

Administration including signing scheme design and documentation | £250, or 10% of the value of the project, whichever is the greater. |
*This can include incorporation of existing direction signs where this is necessary for traffic safety or environmental considerations.
